This week’s Sportsfeld Song of the Week™ is My Lonesome Only Friend, by RX Bandit. The first track off of their 2009 album Mandala, the record solidified the transition from the ska-influenced punk band they had started as in the late 90’s, into the more melodic, progressive-hardcore band they had become.

The California based-band hasn’t dropped any new music since the release of their 2014 album Gemini, Her Majesty, but they still tour often and played a show at the House of Blues in Anaheim in late January 2020. You can listen to song below, and keep up with the band on twitter.
