The albums we listen to at key moments in our lives become a part of our identity, and the same goes for game soundtracks. The backing music to most of Zubes' college dorm experience, the Smackdown vs. Raw 2006 soundtrack is filled with energetic underground gems.
4. MLB 07 The Show
It's always great when a game introduces you to a song that becomes a favourite, but it's even more special when that song was composed just for the game. That's the case with MLB 07 The Show and the song Caught Up in a Rundown by Over It, a slice of the pop-punk bliss that was all the rage in that era.
3. NBA 2K13
Executive produced by Jay-Z, the NBA 2K13 is one of the most star-studded soundtracks in video game history. Featuring songs from Kanye West, Nas, Daft Punk, Coldplay, and even U2, the soundtrack is nothing but bonafide classics from start to finish.
2. NHL 2003

1. Madden 2004
An eclectic mix featuring everyone from Yellowcard, Blink-182 and Avenged Sevenfold to Joe Budden, Bubba Sparxx and Outkast, the Madden 2004 soundtrack was a mix of blend of distinct flavours that somehow each taste better when combined, and will forever stand as the best video game soundtrack.
